Step 3

Now that you have an idea of what Standing Meditation is you need to continue to practice until you can stand for 45 minutes uninterupted per day.  If you are not willing to do this either quit now and join a health club or be prepared to train for life and get now where except perhaps having lots of notes to put on your blog after years of getting no where.

Your choice.  You will get no where if you do not practice every day.

Step 2

Now that you can stand for 15 minutes. Go and find Rick. You can find him through wujifa.com. He will show you how to stand properly.
The reason you need to go and see Rick in person is that in order to learn these things you need to have a teacher who can actually do what you want to learn! This teacher will need to show you how to stand properly and will more than likely have to touch you and position your body in the correct posture to get you started. Additionally, they will probably have to talk to you and help you get your mind into the correct posture also. A talented teacher is like a combination personal counselor and physical therapist. Trust and surender of ego are important concept to embrace at this time.
Jesus had 12 disciples but he trained them one at a time. Large group classes are great exercise but rarely produce substantial results without extra private lessons.

Step 1

Find a quiet place with fresh air and few bugs, in door or out, day or night, where you can stand comfortably undisturbed for at least 10 minutes. Put on some loose clothing and undergarments. Your feet should be bare or in loose flat bottom slippers or socks. Get yourself any kind of timer and set it for 5 minutes. Choose a spot you will like to stay in for five minutes and go there and stand with your hands at you sides, knees slightly bent, pelvis relaxed, head up. Breath slow and steady 5 to 10 seconds a breath. Keep your thoughts within the confines of your body. That means keeping an alert awareness of what is going on with you and around you. Spacing out and daydreaming lead you away from getting to know yourself. Stay that way until the timer goes off.

You are now practicing "Standing Meditation".

Practice daily until you can stand for 15 minutes without freaking out.
